So after an interesting first qualifying of the season which saw all the rookies exit in Q1, Gasly land 20th on the grid for his first race outside the Red Bull Family, Hulkenberg put a Haas into Q3 and team Aston Martin continue to impress, we finally had our first lights out and away we go of 2023. There were some surprises in the races and some less surprising events in the race, one of which being the continuation of the Red Bull dominance and Ferrari's reliability issues. But as it was only the first race of the season, I want to focus on the positives since my soul hasn't been beaten down yet.
