HAAS 2023 Car Launch
Drivers
Kevin Magnussen
Nico Hulkenberg
Team Principal
Guenther Steiner
It's the first car launch of 2023 and HAAS are getting the party started!
2022 saw the American team prove that they can be competitive in the field, having possibly their best season yet. However, the final race weekend of the year saw the team part ways with Mick Schumacher and bring Nico Hulkenberg back to the F1 grid after he was dropped by Renault in 2019.
Will this prove to be a good move or will Steiner be declaring that the team look like a bunch of Wankers again? After all, Mick did get the highest position in HAAS's history, finishing 8th at the 2022 British Grand Prix.
So the big reveal happened at 2pm GMT today (31.1.23), aka: while I was at work in the arse end of nowhere with 0 signal... Great stuff. I took a super late lunch break so I could sneak a look at the car on my work computer and I don't know if I was just hungry or if I'm just not mentally doing well at the moment but I found myself tearing up! At the first car reveal of the season!! WHICH WAS A HAAS?! God knows how I'll react to the Ferrari launch...
I think the 2023 Haas looks really cool (although black is my favourite colour which helps) and I really hope it performs as good as it looks.
My only disappointment with the reveal was that we didn't get a look at the new pairing of K-Mag and Hulkenberg in their race suits side by side with the car. Although I could have just not seen these pictures through my tears brought on by initially looking at the car... I swear I'm okay, really!
